In 2008, she met AJ Deeds, who used the product and lost 22lbs in 30 days. He saw the opportunity to create a business around this product. Dr. Kyle, wanting to expand her alternative medicine practice, created a low calorie diet and a “fat mobilization” process. She formed the Balancer dietary supplement. Seventy-five people agreed to test the product, while four quit after not wanting to perform a low calorie diet, and the testers lost between seven and twenty-eight pounds.
